the experience, the journey within the process...

why i love crafting?
its my outlet, my addiction,
i like the experience of adding special papers and embellishments to make something that is extra ordinary
enjoy today's card
i did have a picture of this card that is not angled but something happened and my comp lost it so this is it...

patterned paper from webster's pages
rub on from my mind's eye
velvet ribbon
ink from close to my heart

have a great day!
m

extra ordinary...

thought i would share another card today (not a lot of chit chat got lots to do...yikes!)
the quote says "do yourself a favor, be a part of something Extra Ordinary."
and i always think i need to do something extra ordinary
and just what would that be?
well...i have not figured it out yet, cause well...i have been way to busy
any suggestions? hehehe
pattern paper from basic grey
rub on from my minds eye
ribbon from american crafts

all for now!
have an extra ordinary day!

m

enjoy the process...

and that is exactly what i am doing
since my youngest was born i have totally been enjoying our busy life....for the most part
my days are filled with dirty dishes, never ending laundry, endless organizing and cleaning...
it can be all so overwhelming!
but really i should be sitting with my kids and talking, singing, giggling, and lots of cuddles and just
enjoy the process
pattern paper from basic grey, bazill
velvet cardstock
rub-on from my minds eye
ribbon

fast and simple card
that is how i be creative now a days
now the ribbon all i did was use sookwang double sided tape (love this stuff) and to adhere the ribbon i folded it along the adhesive strip to give it that pleated look (a popular look now a days)

all for now! have a great friday!

love is in everyday moments...

yes love is in everyday moments especially when

i see my dh with this baby girl that he calls "one of daddy's baby girl's"
he whispers in her ears words of comfort that calms her right down when she cries
i can see in his eyes the love he has for his "baby girl"
this is the same look he has for all of our four children and
every story he tells them
every kiss on the forehead
every word of encouragement
every hug he gives them is
"love in everyday moments"

mind you my dh does have his not so good moments (as do i) when things are overwhelming and we get frustrated, however we still remind ourselves that we love our four and everything we do for them is out of love
God gave us these four because he knows that we can handle it (even if we think we can't hehehehe)

haaaa! my daughter some how talked my son into dressing up like a female pioneer doesn't he look happy? (yeah...um...not)
awww my poor baby boy had a run in with the corner of the table when he was play wrestling with his older brother (hence the bruised puffy eye)....boys will be boys
and yes he sure loves his ice cream
and there is this girl...i can't get over how sweet she is that i constantly have to give her lots of hugs and kisses (she looks annoyed does she? heeeee!)
i have been wanting to post these pictures and i am glad that i finally had the chance to :)

also i thought that i would also post a card as i have not done so in a while
designer pattern paper is from the yellow bicycle
stamp - sorry i can't remember the life of me where i got the sentiment stamp from i have had it for a long time
flowers are from prima
butterfly is from a martha stewart paper punch
and the metal embellishment is from imagenese (hope i spelled that right)

well have a great one where ever you are!

hugs!

m

the cutest kid...

hello all a quick post tonight...

i wanted you to know that our family is blessed with the cutest kid!
who can not resist this sweet smile?

or this sweet beautiful face?
well...i have entered this cute face in virgin radio vancouver's cutest kid contest!
yes that's right...call me crazy nuts, but i thought why not give it a try?
so...this is where you come in to play...

our cute baby needs your support by voting for her and rating her cuteness a whopping 10!
please CLICK HERE to vote
she is absolutely adorable!
thank you for voting!!!

here is tonights creation...

i so love this paper from the yellow bicycle, stamps from scarlet lime and studio g,
flowers are from prima and of course a pin to hold it all together

until next time! hugs!

p.s. remember to vote 10 for my cutie patootie

Time...

oh where does the time go?

i get so caught up in daily routines and constant running around that i really don't know where the time goes, sometimes i don't even know the date

the kidlets grow so fast! like the blink of an eye that is why i am so blessed to be able to stay at home for one year to be with the kids especially my youngest

all this time...

i can't believe that she is 3 months old...
i can't believe that he is no longer the youngest in the family, but still my baby...
i can't believe that he will have his first commumion this spring...
i can't believe that she is on the brink of adolescence...

yes time is of the essence

i find myself constantly cleaning, constantly booking appointments, constantly running to the store
some days i just have to say to myself slow down and enjoy the little things cause those little things are what matters the most

don't forget too that i have to find time to myself and what do i do?

i scrapbook of course

i try to find the time to use a stamp from scarlet line, paper from basic grey, and a punch from martha stewart
cause this really only took me 5 minutes so that i can spend time on what matters the most...

have a great day!
Hugs!

cards for the holidays...

because i have not had the chance to post my cards over the holidays thought i would put all of them here on this one post

it is going to be short
i only have a small window of opportunity as baby sleeps

aren't these little mice cute!
stamp is from penny black and paper is from echo park
below is another creation using the same companies

these cute puppies are from stampavie (i hope i spelled that right) and i so love the paper from echo park

and of course on all the cards i used my copics

i was thinking that for this year i would start scrapping my photos and less stamping on cards
it would great to get my pictures off my comp so that we can enjoy them more in albums

ooo got to run baby is hungry...more later

6 weeks...

i can't believe she is 6 weeks and is as cute as ever

i love her eyes especially when she looks at me
i love those cheeks especially when i feel her cheek against mine,
i love that cute button nose

some days she looks like my other children
but i see a lot of my hubby in her features

we are all smiles when we are around her
see how we look into her sweet eyes

and see how we love to be near her
talking to her gently and letting her know how much we love her

we are always snuggling with her and will be there to love and protect her

here is today's card...

stamp: stampavie
designer paper: echo park
ink: copic markers, momento, close to my heart
accessories: fluff

keeping warm...

my goodness it has gotten cold outside

there is not a lot of snow just yet, but we are anticipating a white winter this year

i am thankful that I can stay in doors especially with the little one

here is today's card

you can't really see the sparkly but its there... really its there

i like this snowman

he is cute and cuddly

got to make this post short as my little bundle of joy keeps me on my toes
recipe
stamp: whipper snapper
paper: echo park
ink: momento, close to my hear, stickles

Precious...

words can not describe the feeling of holding our baby girl sound asleep in my arms
yes i am happily exhausted and needing sleep, but my heart is in love with my sweet precious baby girl
i love how her hands are so close to her face when she sleeps
she brings peace to our home, one that i can't explain.
the kids love her and kiss her often
it is hard to put her down in her crib when she is so comfortable in daddy's arms
i think she truly is a daddy's girl, being the youngest in our family.
this picture says it all

even in this exhausted state I have created some Christmas cards
here is one to share

recipe:
stamp: elzybells
designer paper: echo park
ink: copic markers, stickles, close to my heart, momento
gear: ek success snow flake border punch

thank you...

i have not been feeling so creative over the past few month

being preggy has taken my creative mojo away....tired and all.

however, I had to make a special thank you card for a fabulous woman.

she is the woman that made my brides maid's dress fit me and my preggy belly, hehehe

isn't she adorable? I saw this stamp and it totally reminded of her, sweet, caring, always laughing, always smiling, and always gives love. she also did the flower arrangements for the wedding.

she did so much work on my dress that I had to express my appreciation for her wonderful talent.

recipe:
stamp: penny black
designer paper: basic grey
sentiments: srm stickers
