On the first day of school the kids put their school uniform on and had their
backpacks in tow. They were eager to start! I have been on vacation from work the last two weeks so that I can get the kids settled in with the new routine and get all the things that I need to get done. I can't believe how fast the summer went...it seemed to be just a blur. I tried to get as much
scrapbooking done over the summer and I keep saying to myself I have to get for ready Christmas making cards and paper delights. :-) I still have time right?
Hehehe we'll see. **wink** wink**. One of the projects that I happily completed is a mini personalized scrapbook for a dear friends that just had their first baby boy.
I've seen the precious baby pictures on
facebook and I new I wanted to make a special album just for Aaron Micheal. :-)
The album measures 6x6 and make entirely with
cardstock. There are 6 pages total that include pockets to hold pictures and
journaling...
and 4 1/3" x 4 1/3" photo mats.
Then I added little stamped images (I cut out myself) to embellish. I wanted to make the album as simply cute as possible.
Recipe:
Cardstock: Close to My Heart
Designer Paper: Close to My Heart
Stamp: Close to My Heart - It's a Jungle set
Ink: Adirondack, Copic Markers
I sent the album off today and I can't wait till they get it!
